Central In | I choose to believe God's Word. The Bible is God's written thoughts expressed and committed to paper. Some of mankind want a cafeteria Bible...I'll take some of this, but none of that. Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every Word that comes from the mouth of God.
Peter was given the keys to the Kingdom. I DO NOT make him a pope, but rather a door opener. It was Peter who got up and explained what was going on that Penecostal Feast Day. He declared, "With cruel and wicked hands you have crucufied the Lord of life." They cried out, "Men and brethren, what must we do?" Peter declared, Repent and be baptized everyone of you in the name of Jesus Christ, and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. This promise is to you and your children, those that are afar off, as many as the Lord shall call." This is bound in earth and heaven. We are to stop, turn around, and forsake our unbelieing ways. We are to witness that in Christian baptism in the NAME...not the Titles of God. If we do it right, we are in line to receive the Holy Ghost.
How many are ignoring the very first command to the Church?...or not fully doing it?
The Apostle Paul was ordained to set the Church in order...so much so that he said, "If any man shall preach a different gospel that what we have preached, let him be accursed."
Now I see many posts here that follow what looks like a forsaking of some of that gospel. | |
