Frytown, Iowa | Can you imagine if the Bible had said that if you are in bondage to someone you are to rise up and rebel against? To over throw that who is in power? Hell it would be constant anarchy. People would apply that to governments, banks, friends who lent them money and now want it back, Christians would be dying left and right trying to fight the mob, Christians would form a mob to fight the mob and become a mob themselves.
I know who I go to work for every day willing or unwilling if I want a house and my own business I had to sell my future time and effort to a bank and following the Bible I am to do it with a loving heart and to the best of my ability. Even if I’m forced into an unwilling slave postition.. if there is another who truly is in authority you still serve another to the best you can... I guess another way to put it is.. don’t bring a knife to a gun fight. You wouldn’t rise up against North Korean gov if you lived there...
But I get it... on liners thrown blindly that sound catchy are fun right?
