Portage MB Canada | ahhh...Chickpeas. Brings back memories of my time in Queensland years ago. Claas combines would be on fire first thing in the morning already, case 1680's would have 3-4 fires a day. Gleaner L2 I was running only caught fire once.....not sure why we put it out <grin>
That oily dust and 40C temps make for a very combustible situation.
Sometimes they are easy to put out, sometimes you can do nothing but run fast......
Most years doing sunflowers we end up with fires while combining through the snow ! At least the field doesn't burn.
