I don't run the combine so this fall I want to put my 2600 in the combine and put the receiver on it. I think some dusty afternoon cutting beans he will give in. I would shoot myself trying to spray 15 inch beans with a 90 foot boom and no autosteer.
Agree, nothing like autosteer while combining beans with the wind in the wrong direction. Dad fell in love with the pre-set height for the old 643 corn head on the S550 this past fall. Once I got it all calibrated, he loved it. Parked him in it for two days opening up fields. His favorite chore! He also liked combining beans at 4 mph with a 600 series head. |
