| I’m catching a lot of heat in here so here’s take two. The man is the spiritual leader of the household where I come from. Why wouldn’t a man be the leader of the church? We originally enjoyed the lady preachers services then she went way out into left field and telling us that the Bible is outdated and went on a tirade about how we should be more accepting of gays and rambled on about her brother that cheated on his wife with a man, contracted and std which he gave to his wife, got divorced and repeated that cycle again. Wasn’t church appropriate material. I don’t like all the knee slapping singing and enjoy a more traditional service. We have since moved to a cowboy church and the preacher says the things people don’t want to hear. I love it. He’s to the point and excellent at speaking to everyone in attendance.
There are plenty of places to females in the church but the head of it isn’t it with my family. Fun fact, I let my wife drive, work and vote. She can even say what’s on her mind.

Edit to add. I don’t have anything against gays/lesbians. Some of our closest friends area lesbian couple and we vacation with them. It’s not my place to judge, just love
