Cherokee County, Northwest Iowa | Sure looks like the work of a farmer friend of mine, correct area also. He also has a man leading a giraffe south of Cherokee on Hwy 59, by the RJ Thomas Manufacturing plant. Also a moose at the top of the hill east of Cherokee. I think he was commissioned to do a Raptor for a school system south of here, that being their school mascot, but i have never seen that one.
Attached are two pictures of the moose, i bet he stands about 6 feet tall at the withers. Last fall during deer hunting season they put a blaze orange vest on him so no one would get excited and confused.
