Mid Michigan | Nothing on that list would have made your dads life any "better". It's just different. I grew up without and still live without most of the things on that list and don't feel the need for any of them. They grew up in simple times and the level of happiness was probably higher than it is now. Dad is 78 and the only hi-tek thing he has is a cordless grease gun and a cell phone. Either one of those could be left home and he wouldn't miss them much. He could wake up in 1952 and be perfectly happy and thrive. | |
