Southeast Colorado
Not real pretty yet here. We have most of the dirt stopped but only had that 1" rain 3 weeks or so ago. We got some crop up and growing but mostly the irrigated stuff. Didn't have time to attack the dryland like would have been best but felt the need to concentrate mostly on the higher income stuff. What we have there looks good but really small. There are not very many acres of dryland crops up and growing in my immediate area............fire or no fire. Trying to rain right now but not getting much. Once you're dry it's hard for the clouds to give up any rain. We're still sitting on basically one inch of rain since everything shut off at the end of last September. All in all...............it could be worse. Still haven't had to get a real job yet!
