SW Mi. | Farming, is, should be, use to be a way of life! Farming use to be who we were and are! The words neighbor and Independence use to mean something! This whole thread is just a sad and terrible statement of how bad the people and this country have decayed. When every thing is controlled by just a few, the rest of us will be at their mercy. I'm just a small cow/calf operation (40 to 50 animals), most of the cattle in this country are produced by small farms. I can't compete for land with big Ag-factories, nor can small dairy farms, truck farms and on and on. Along with small Mom and Pop operation we'll all be gone. Whats left? One big corporation, try and leave that to the next generation.
