Texas | i can tell by the replies ,that msot of you havent been involved in a fire on a machine .it does not matter how calm and collected you are ,when a fire breaks out it does mess up your thought process . we had a truck on fire about 2 years ago .i found it smouldering in the cab ,i got the door open and it really took off ,scared the heck out of me .i had to go back to the shop to get an ext. and some help ,i ran about 300 yards carrying a big fire ext and started putting it out ,a co worker got all excited to help me and wound up shooting me in the face with a dry powder fire ext. until you have been in the siuation it is hard to say what you would do . some people really lose their cool in a panic siuation . some people do way more harm than good under pressure. | |
