When the knotter misties the string has a single knot on the end of the string above the knotter. I rethread the string thru the slacker and under the knotter and it works for about ten bales. The needle and knotter settings seem within specs. What do I try first ?
Bend the tucker arm to the left about a quarter inch.
That would be the arm with the roller under the knotter that you route the twine through.
That’s the most common big square baler knotter miss problem I run into.
Edit to add: Two Hawk nailed it, the knot in the top string didn’t register when I wrote my reply.
