Texas

hillfarmer - 6/10/2018 05:09 OK so sorry about the non perfect weather But the long thing does not look like what I would call a transmission I would assume the motor was strapped do to the occupation, the drivers have "beer money" is to be made by hauling pickup beds, up from the south on your way does this story, confirm the rule of" looking at what you buy" at auctions we were like ,60 degrees on the 20th of Feb edit ,Sorry wrong date ,had a guilt trip had to go look was also 58 on the 28th https://www.accuweather.com/en/us/carsonville-mi/48419/february-weat... still a free meal, if you get to the Thumb

The transmission is bolted to the engine but doesn't show in the pics.  We also got an extra rear axle which does show but Daughter didn't mention.

Strapping the load isn't a bad idea, but I have hauled lots of engines over the years just by placing them in an old tire as we did with this one.  It's pretty unusual that I ever "secure" anything in the pickup bed, just load and go.

Now, hillfarmer.........if you had been driving......!!
