Brazilton KS
There's nothing hypothetical about that. Welcome to reality Kansas style. Not so big neighbors already have their own fertilizer facilities and storage for a million bushels or so. We store our own grain and handle some of our own fertilizer and we are not particularly big. The "big" neighbors own a whole string of fertilizer plants and grain elevators and i think h ave an interest in the nearest port facilities. They have numerous feedlots and I'm sure they have contracts to supply more then one end-user. I'm sure they are dealers for several seed companies. Only thing missing is investor money....they are a privately held business.

And yet, our friends in IL assure me that we have no idea what competition really is out here in KS. LOL
