That I 70 mess is going to be a CLUSTER, the DETOUR that the state is showing west bound is I 70 to I 470 south to I 435 north. 40 highway has been mentioned but they are not recommending it, car traffic only, stoplights all over the place. They are removing 3 overhead bridges for replacement between now and Christmas.
This mess should be open Monday morning 0500-0600.
Southbound on I 35 to east bound I 70, 291 Highway would be my choice, 4 lane with several stoplights.
