| Funny, I was just reading about the movie on Wikipedia a couple days ago.
Seen parts of the film years ago.. definetely the most relentlessy depressing movie ever.
Read "Animal Farm" at age 11 I think. Of course I didn't get the allusionary references to world events of the time it was written, but I was fascinated by the tale of farm animals rebeling against the humans, only for the leaders (pigs) to corrupt themselves. Their amended credo was infamously ironic: "All animals are equal, but some are more equal than others". | |
