| Have you tried calling your provider and telling them your cancelling the service? My parents did that with their landline a few years ago and right away Telus dropped it to $15 month. Was around $40 month before that.
Have another neighbour who did the same thing except he genuinely was cancelling it. He got Telus down to $5 month before he still cancelled it.
I think Telus has finally realized the landline needs to be under the cost of a cell phone for people to be remotely interested.
