Northeast Louisiana | As far as technology is concerned, my Grandad (born in 1919) would say indoor plumbing, electricity, cars, and tractors if he were still alive.
My Dad (born 1942) would say cabs on tractors, herbicides, AC in cars and pickups, and television. (first broadcast around here was in the 50's.)
I (born 1971) would say cell phones and the internet, because I had neither until I was out of college, and they have changed the way we live and communicate. Biotechnology has probably been the biggest change in farming, along with GPS.
Personally, it would be my relationship with Jesus Christ, my marriage, and the birth of my daughter and son.
