Organic farmers are on the ropes now also, a local excellent organic dairy farmer just lost his contract as it seems there are some big mega dairies in Texas who have found ways to bend the rules and flood the organic market with cheaper organic milk. The big marketers like Walmart don't care where their supply comes from as long as they can slap the organic label on the product. Sad to see.


Almost started to mention or reference at least one big dairy in TX. I was told how impressive it is, with the way the mostly Hispanic labor works at such a fast pace. And then they get burned out and quit. Don’t recall the exact number of cows being milked, but it’s way up there. No robots.
Didn’t sound all that impressive to me. Would be a horrible place to work,IMO.
