| Its a sad day when the milk cows go down the road, but it gets better as time goes by.
We got rid of ours nearly 10 years ago and the heifers a couple of years later as we found that you spent more time looking after them than what you made in the end, and we were both burnt out.
Go down and walk around the barn every once in a while and you feel sad , but walk out the door and you realize its the best thing we've done , as we finally got a life where we got to see a lot of North America and we still is fairly healthy.
The good thing is that both of you agree to get out and you will have some bad days after every thing settles down , but you will have lots of free time and good days to just enjoy life and not worry about cattle and crops.
