Montevideo | What I don't understand is that deere wanted to own PP a short time ago and the DOJ knocked down the sale because of deere having a monopoly in the high speed planter product line if the sale were to go through. Now that they can't own PP for the speedtube they feel they need to sue for patent infringement. Deere just wants to be the only player in the high speed planter business and one has to think that all of these farmers choosing to refurbish their old planters as opposed to buying new is certainly putting a hurt on their new planter sales volume. just my opinion. | |
