You can hate whatever u want. We use fencerow nozzles mostly just in the fall when spraying dicamba and 2,4-D. I use a #10 floodjet tip turned up to blast the fencerow and any trees-brush along field edges. Leaves the grass in place.
Like anything else, they can be abused, bit no need to throw the baby out with the bath water.
