I set my fence row tip so it doesn't spray any wider than the last tip on the boom. That way you get a higher rate of chemical to offset the last tip not getting any overlap.
I've thought about mounting an atv type sprayer on my field sprayer to do as others mentioned and apply a broadleaf brush chemical off the end of the boom on my first pass but haven't gotten it done yet.
