If you rent any ground around those kinds of operations it will affect you. They go to your landlords and offer outrageous rents. (some over $500/acre). A few dollars per acre profit is all they need. I need to make a living off my ground. I need more than a few dollars per acre. Their only concern is amassing more acres. There have been farmers ran out of business because of them. Farmers that were farming 500 or 1000 acres and doing ok because they made more than a few dollars per acre with reasonable rent.
