Manitoba, Canada | I disagree. I believe seeking a position of money and power is the effect, not the cause. Often people who act this way have low self esteem. Their way of feeling better about themselves causes their actions. They seek these powerful positions to hide their own insecurities and prove to the world that we should consider them superior and powerful. The reality is that they are actually too weak to resist the temptation for personal advancement at the expense of others like many of the rest of us do.
Money and power rarely changes a person’s core belief. The personality just doesn’t show up unless they are in a position to exploit it. | |
