Subject: I use Windows Movie maker and Media Center if necessary..

Hi Ray,

The first thing you need to do is get your media into a digital format. You have that part done, so that is half the battle. Now you just need the editing software...

Depending on my application, I use either Nero Ultra or Microsoft Windows Movie Maker. MS WMM is very easy to use and gives great results for stuff like this. (also, it may already be on your computer)Here's basically how MS WMM works...

First, you take your digital movie and import into the program. From there, you can take that file, start playing it and cut and split as desired. From there, you can take the 'clips' you just made and drag them onto a storyboard. Each one is now a scene, and you can have them on a menu on the dvd.

Finally you publish the storyboard to the computer or a dvd. You can add special effects, titles, credits, etc.

good luck -jim
