Steiger Man - 6/2/2018 08:47 There is no such thing as a drought busting rain where’re I’m at. We are always 2 weeks away from a drought no matter how wet it is. We started out wet this spring with all the snow pack and run off. By the time we were done seeding a month later it was dry enough the last 500 acres we seeded was going to need a rain to come up. And we did get some rain. Just enough to keep us going another week or two. That is true and we have the same saying here. But in a normal year it seems like we always get that rain every 2 weeks or so. The past year and a half we did not get it. Until this week. That makes me think that maybe the pattern of precip is changing. Maybe wishful thinking but time will tell. |
