NE SD | Give the guy a chance here guys. Always lovely how people are the first to ASSUME (when you assume it makes an ass out of you and me) that they know what went on. You don't have the first clue what may have happened. If the machine would have had a chopper and was running I will put in a good guess on what started the fire. That no good !#$%^&* idler pully on the chopper drive JD has yet to fix. Been a problem since 2000. It's right under the fuel tank so if you don't catch it when it's smoldering odds are the machine is a goner. Maybe the spreaders still have a similar drive setup though. | |
