Subject: RE: Zero turn lawn mowers

Yes I wish I hadn't traded for a zero turn. The reason is that the tractor style mower I had has a floating deck where the height of cut is adjusted and the deck rides on the full width roller on the back of deck. The zero turn has the deck hanging from the mower with a roller on the back that doesn't even touch the ground. Easy to tell when going around a tree where the ground tends to be a little higher by the tree and also on inclines. On smooth level ground no difference but my yard is not smooth and level.
