Texas & western Iowa
No problem taking out bikers here in Tx. No state wide 3 foot law, so it's gotten to be a sport, especially by diesel pickups for some reason.
I've seen it several times. Usually done with a side mirror. I don't know if these guys make it out of the hospital or not, but they're not an aggravation for a while.

Laws are vague at best:
Ride near the curb and go in the same direction as other traffic: (551.103)
At least nine cities in Texas have ratified 3-foot passing bill, following Texas Gov. Rick Perry’s veto in 2010 of a statewide 3-foot law that had gained legislature approval but faced opposition from special interests.

So to sum up......Bikes stay as near to the curb as possible. Depending on if you happen to live in a city with a 3 foot law, vehicles can pass as close as they want with no laws broken.
