SE Wyoming | A stalker does it for his own self interest. Love, or whatever perversion of it they feel, revenge, jealousy, etc.
A private eye does it for money, and the interests of others.
At least that’s what I think anyway. You are correct in their similarities.
Edit to add: I suppose one could hire a private eye for the same reasons that one becomes a stalker, just hiding behind a veil instead of being up front about their intent?
