There's a valley in Alaska by Palmer that has some of the best in the world. My aunt lives there and she said they've been picking huge morel mushrooms this year in the valley. They always grow the world record huge vegetables there as well. I've seem the people bring them on the David Letterman show before. It's probably old volcanic ash and coupled with 24 hours of daylight for a while it's majic.
