I knew from the second date the woman was meant for kids. She a better mother than wife....(I’ll deservedly get slapped for this) but I have to say she didn’t luck out in the husband category.

Yes, I am lucky.... but I am honest about myself too.


You must be clairvoyant, you can see the future and know a person will never change. I've seen women that were great with their younger siblings and a whole different story with their own children. I never have been able to predict the future.


I knew her family before her, I had one failed marriage before, so I was open and honest from day one about family. I’d swag not too many guys ask their partners on a second date if they had a choice to stay home and raise kids vs go after a career what would you want?

Zero supernatural events needed. Observation and actually asking hard questions seems too easy, but it turns out most people think everyone is like themselves, why wouldn’t they, eh?

We almost didn’t make it, actually had papers drawn up, separated for 4 months 8 years ago.

We both finally realized we suck at marriage and many more things in life, and now work at it, it’s actually fun.
