Subject: RE: Farms do not like divorces nt

North End I-15
57 years here also.( Come September)
Wife helped put me through College working as a school teacher .
She had moved 12 times with me from state to state town to town ,job to job. Second to last move was to a rented farm nearly 50 years ago. She has cooked , cleaned , laundered for many a wayward hired man over the years . Hauled meals to the field , hauled crops to bin ,Hauled seed, fertilizer to field , water for spraying ,raised 3 children , tended the live stock, gardened to put food on the table , canned ,preserved ,butchered what needed ,nurtured the children, the farm, buried an only son ,worked by my side making this farm prosper.
If it ever came to a divorce she would certainly be entitled to half. She was with me every step of the way , and many times would have been justified in wanting out . 30 years ago my thoughts may have been different .
I have been blessed with a caring ,loving , beautiful Wife.
And .....2 beautiful Daughters who in turn furnished us with 6 grandchildren who in turn furnished 6 great grandchildren as a reward (7th on the way,June )

Neighbor always said "Grandchildren are Gods reward for not killing your own kids when they needed it"
It's been a Journey . :>)
