It seems like the complaints we sometimes hear on here are about working too much, no time for the spouse, no vacations, no nice things for the house but new shiny things for the farm.

A vacation, weekends away, and a new kitchen are a lot cheaper than 50% of net assets.  Or even just coming in a couple hours earlier or upsizing equipment to get things done sooner.

We invest in all sorts of assets on this farm to achieve business goals, spending money to help a spouse achieve personal goals should be no different.  If your spouse is an asset to your and your joint goals, why not invest in keeping that productive relationship working?

Jimmy Choo is fancy heels and my wife thankfully wears common sense flats.
