I was going to comment on that too. Still see and hear a few meadowlarks here in Sask. Flickers are out on the grass in my yard looking for ants quite often. One bird that we didn't use to ever see, but now do, is the turkey vulture. They nest in old buildings on my farm. Great for cleaning up road kill.
