Douglass Kansas | We use milk jug too, fill it half to 2/3 full of water and freeze it, once frozen solid fill to top with water, and put plastic groceries bags around it. Most of the time I use 4 to 6 bags around the jug, but sometimes I have used as many as fifteen bags at once around the jug, makes a huge difference in how long the ice will last. Sometimes I have to take the plastic bags off to get the ice to melt faster so I can have some water to drink. | |
