Subject: RE: Anyone ever use a chin ball marker?

Northeast Iowa
This one has been hanging on the wall in my shed for 20 years or more. Not sure of the brand, but it seems like it came from Nasco. Bought two units of Texas Longhorn semen one year and got a bull calf. He grew so slowly that he wasn't ready to use until he was two years old. His biggest problem was that he was monogamous. One black heifer looked like a bumblebee and anything else in heat was spotless. Tried using testosterone on open cows, but it just made them bellar an octave or two lower and paw the ground. Zero heat detection from them. The marker itself worked fine. Kamars were better and Bovine Beacons were the best for visual detection.
