| Listen to Indy, they're junk. If you doubt it, save one and cut it and another brand open once you use that one. You'll never use another Fram.
For the price difference, I'll spend a few bucks on a more name brand filter I can get to have the peace of mind that I'm not using a filter with less than stellar amounts of media.
I used them for years thinking as you, seeing the inside changed my mind. I can't afford to lose an engine due to a filtration issue.
I can get Baldwin's here almost as cheap as Wal Mart Frams. For my situation it's a no brainer. | |
