Cambridge, southwestern Nebraska | Frankly, I have become less of a Warren Buffet fan with some actions he has taken over the past few years. When oil was discovered in the Bakken he bought a railroad knowing that oil was going to have to be shipped out of there on rail. Smart man for that! My beef with Buffet is then he rallied behind the people protesting putting in the pipelines to move that oil out of that region to the refineries. I think his motive was to protect his railroad and the revenue he was getting from shipping the oil. In the meantime Americans were spending a lot more for oil than necessary because Buffet didn't want those pipelines built. To me, he put himself and his business in front of the good of the American people. Just how much money does the Billionaire need? |
