Northwest Ohio | Nexus did not understand why all the farmers were worried about the field tile first and foremost. After the 12" inches of topsoil is removed a layer former lake bottom clay subsoil is left.... It is literally used for pond liners. So working it with dozer and especially wet, the field will never be the same..... This is not Illinois with 30' of topsoil. So the pipeline does compensate ok for 3 years of damage but is it worth your farm being permanently damaged?
And I don't want to pay $3 for gas but this pipeline is to take our natural gas to Canada. | |
