North East Kansas | We have some very premium acres along side airport runways that we can only plant smaller strips. It is worth keeping a 12 row around just to keep this ground. We also have a few fields that 40 feet is the widest we can put between certain properties. Its not worth losing some of these pieces over and our 12 row probably isn't worth much anyway. Maybe a 24 row is the way to go. I don't like the idea of 48 end rows because of overlapping wheel tracks further into the field, but it probably isn't that big of a deal. | |
