Very southern Mn | I don't know what your yields are or how dry your corn is but here we have 240-280 wet corn and have a 680 Jd combine and it is about right. A bigger head would not add to our harvest efficiency at all unless we had bigger combine and another cart. Have a friend who helps a big farmer and he said the the 16 row heads are extremely heavy. Another problem is that you can't get a 16 row head down any size road here. | |
