We've harvest 12 & planted with a 16 row for years, GPS makes
it doable. This season I bought a used 24 row planter for corn
& we also still run a 16 row in corn. I can see it will be nicer
shelling where the 24 row was used. IMO if you want to run a
16 row corn header better have lots of trucks & auger wagons.
Also 16 row header resale......I'd say better wear it out.
