ecmn | for the gear box get the cooler kit. the ones we put in had a little pump driven off the belt on the left side. easy to install.
there was an upgraded spring and belt for the guys running 12 row and knife rolls. talk to the big combine dealers like out of elbow lake Mn. they will get you in the right direction. start with service then get to parts.
behind the cab is a gear box. give the steel that its mounted to a good look for cracks.
the shaft coming out of that gear box going behind the cab to the other side sometimes has a plastic tube over it. potential fire hazard. lots of them tubes were removed as the combine was being worked on.
