Agreed. Nice looking 9600. have owned a '93 model since 2000. never added anything to it. stock lights, no bin extension, etc. Just a good machine for an 8row head and 25 to 30 ft platform. other than routine maintenance the two areas I would watch have both to do with walkers. the first is the alloy walker bearings as mentioned previously grease them everyday and grease them full. Or you might consider replacing them with the old wood style blocks--think they are about $40 or so each. the other item is the straw walker drive gearbox. make sure that it stays tight on the straw walker shaft, if it gets loose it will eat the end of the shaft. I would also drain the gear oil from that gearbox, put a grease zerk on it, and fill it JD cornhead grease.
There are a few other things to watch for like the tin under the bin cross augers getting thin-may need liners installed. the tin under the feederhouse wearing thin-need replacement or patched. Lots of wear items on combine as the hours add up. Good luck.
