Sioux County, NWIA | No, the 540 lasts way longer on those balers than the 1000. I have both. Got 20k bales out of the 540 and less than 7.5k out of the 1000s. The 540 is a heavier series. The speed of the 1000 simply wears out the cv joint, no matter how much it’s greased.
Talk to discbinedr, he can get you the 540 series pto with the 1000 spline I think.
