Brazilton KS | If we followed all this advice it's doubtful our farm would exist. The lack of ability to pool resources and talents with others is likely the biggest shortcoming of most farmers. There is absolutely nothing wrong with a good partnership arrangement. Just be careful that everyone is on the same page to start, and keep things equitable so that everyone remains on the same page and you can prosper far beyond what you could achieve individually.
Been farming in various business relationships with my family for my entire career and I would not have it any other way. Our business started from scratch in 1975 and in 34 years I think we've done alright. | |
