Mo | Tractor pulling as a kid with our 4230. I think in the ten thousand pound class. Plenty of power but would spin out too easily. Plowed terraces in Missouri with 5 16’s and was ok but was slow. Get in some clay on a slope and was barely turning it over. Did a lot of that in cold weather with a comfort-cab because the tractor was cab-less. Always liked how peppy the motor was except when plowing it had all it could handle. Young guys now days don’t have that kind of patience! | |
