more to it then that Jim-here we also have switch makes since -at a rate of 1/2 maybe 6-7cts-you lose that if you go to solar plus they took away once a year settlement-on a hog barn you need over $100,000 of panels to come close-a lot of barns are burning $900 to $1400 a month-its not just a 500 or 1,000 watt heater -my brother installed over $200,000 of panels-in grace period of settle once a year--he lost all his switch makes since -I belong to the solar farm-I bought 38 panels at $900 a panel-it is about $40-$50 month off my bill-today are co-op with 700 panels produced $28-my 38 panels ($1.52) in savings-my rec bill averages $700 a month or $23.33 a day-on a day like today I would need 583 panels at $900 a panel or $340,000 investment plus I would lose switch makes since which would add another $200 a month to my bill
