The problem with most typical hog barns, especially natural vent or curtain barns is dust.

THat and you do not get net metering-local rec -you lose switch makes cents-(lower cost) plus you over produce 1/4 of the meter cost back the other way-so pay 12cts but only get back 3cts if you over produce and you can no longer settle once a year has to be once a month-it is set up to harvest the members more so then anything-you can join the community solar farm which is basically leasing $895 panels that they own in 20 years-Iowa rec basically makes it cost prohibitive
